Giannutri Island can be found together with the islands of Giglio, Capraia, Montecrist and Gorgona, and is affectionately known as the nature park of Tuscany’s archipelago. The island itself is about an 1 hour and half away from Porto Santo Stefano and can be easily reached by ferry boat.
Shaped like a horseshoe, Giannutri is a natural paradise of extreme tranquility, perfect for those who want to get away from urbanization and enjoy the mediterranean wildlife.
Recognised as a marina park, some parts of Giannutri are closed to the public.
However tourists can still experience the area’s beautiful reefs and unique marine wildlife.
