The Tower Trail is 1.25 miles long; a walk to the Tower takes approximately 30 - 40 minutes. Also running through the park is a section of the Metacomet Trail, developed and maintained with volunteer assistance by the Connecticut Forest and Park Association.
Heublein Tower historic home and museum is accessible by walking trail only. The trail is 1.25 miles long.
Memorial Day Weekend through September 30th, the museum is open Thursday through Monday only. (Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
October 1 - October 29th the museum is open Wednesday through Monday (Closed Tuesdays).
Museum hours are 10 am to 5 pm. Pets, food, drink, and walking sticks are not allowed in the museum.

Traveling over three sets of rapids, you'll experience a thrill as you splash through the white water. Its a good idea to bring a pair of old sneakers or water shoes. They also recommend calling in and checking current weather conditions as whether can change daily.
