This is the place for people who wants to try typical Czech food. You can't go wrong. Excellent beer and a great selection of Bohemian Cuisine suitable for tourists at good prices. But quite pricey for locals.
Beautiful building (first republic atmosphere), big servings, easy to reach, comfortable. A little bit crowdy and noisy during evening hours, expect to wait quite some time for your food. They are also open later so a great place to grab a drink or food before midnight

This is a place with nice atmosphere. Not only due to the wall. This place is a bit aside the mass-tourism. The area gives an impression of a historic Prague with alleyway, nice pubs and coffe bars. The wall is nothing incredible, but it is an interesting stop if you are in the area. It is not really related to john Lennon. The wall has become a symbol for love, peace and human expression.

And return in the evening! Have a seat on the ground with your feet half meter about the river, get a beer, chilled wine and some snack. And enjoy the fantastic view on the Prague's castle area. There are occasionally concerts there as well. A perfect kick-off for a night out in Prague!

Very nice little bar with cheap beer and cocktails! Also good for dancing. Friendly place with great atmosphere. Often full of young people. Keep in mind that they only accept Czech crowns, not euros.
