Beautiful for picture taking, a must-see in San Diego! We have been there several times and have never had a problem finding parking. Type it in your GPS and you will arrive at what we feel is the best view and easiest place to park. There is a parking lot that is rarely full, and some street parking in case it happens to be full.

Ladera StreetBeautiful for picture taking, a must-see in San Diego! We have been there several times and have never had a problem finding parking. Type it in your GPS and you will arrive at what we feel is the best view and easiest place to park. There is a parking lot that is rarely full, and some street parking in case it happens to be full.

You don't have to take the Paragliding course to enjoy this place. It has free parking and has a very nice view of the beach below the cliff. You can also easily hike down to Black's Beach. Be aware that Black's Beach is a clothing optional beach! There are some nice hiking trails around there, great for pictures. Some of the trails are actually very challenging, but worth it for the pictures.

This is the actual USS Midway aircraft carrier that was decommissioned in 1992 and is now a museum. You can tour the ship and see how sailors live aboard a ship.

In California, we don't always get to see the color-changing of the leaves during Fall. But in San Diego, we have Julian, which is about a 1.5 hour drive from here, but has a lot more color changing during Autumn. The buildings there are preserved from the late 1800s, so you feel like you are visiting the past. Then you can stop and get some delicious pie from one of the many pie vendors. Great for a visit and picture-taking during Fall!

The best Italian place I have been. I have been searching for the best Carbonara and I believe theirs is the best. Actually, all of their pasta is amazing. I believe they just know the exact time to remove from the stove to get that al dente texture, and they also know just the right timing to add ingredients to make them stick to the pasta just the right way.
