On a Friday go around 6 pm, enjoy happy hour, you can walk after to see Aloha Friday fireworks or if you have a table by the balcony stay and enjoy fireworks from there.
Fireworks at 7:40pm.

Be there at 12pm to 8 pm. I recommend getting ambassador lua package and do the whole thing, is beautiful.
*Run by Mormons, they don't sell alcohol anywhere. Tour to temple is to the Mormon temple (boring).
*DON'T GO IF IS RAINING!!! use lot of sun cream.
