126 Buffalo StIf you love Southern food done right, then this is the place to be. During the summer, their out door patio is a great place for brunch. My favorite dish is Fried Chicken and Grits. Come early on Friday and Saturday's because there is usually a line.

I love eating at Holy Taco. Everything is delicious. Definitely try their caso and chips before your meal.

During the Spring though the Fall you can find unique items from our area. The farmers market has produce, meats, woodwork, amish donuts, pottery, and more. This spots is full of talented people and a festive atmosphere. I definitely recommend checking it out if you have time.

Parks & Nature
The breath taking views will leave you breathless. I even preposed to my wife on Roan Mountain. This is the top hike for our area and worth the drive. Make sure to park at Carvers Gap.

Sycamore Shoals has 4 miles of hiking trails along to beautiful Watauga River. This is a great spot to explore. It also has a historic fort in the middle of the park to commemorate the heritage of the area. It also has a museum dating the history of the first settlers all the way to the epic battle off the Over Mountain Men. This is a favorite place for me and my wife to run. It also has tennis courts, an outdoor pool and reenactments though out the year.

Tweetsie TrailThe Tweetsie Trail starts in Johnson City and cuts though Elizabethton only a half mile form our house. It is currently 10 miles long. If you love to run, bike, or walk. This is a perfect place to go. the trails surface is fine crushed gravel. There are markers every .2 miles to help you keep track of your distance.

Bristol Motor Speedway is the largest stadium in our area. It holds two races a year. One in the spring and one in the fall. It also holds year round events and festivals. If you have not experienced a race at Bristol you are missing out. It is the fastest half mile in the world. "It's Bristol Baby"
