This restaurant is also right on the water below Wilson Dam. You can drive about 15-20 minutes there or lock through Wilson Dam (Tip - call the lock master first to check lock through times first since sometimes they can get you through quickly but sometimes it could take 4+ hours since barges are priority through locks but the lock master could tell you when to arrive). This restaurant also has some night life.

This restaurant has some of the best smoked meats and potato salad etc.! Owned by some awesome people also and they have a full stage with a band or two playing almost every night! Also downtown near several other restaurants, shops, etc.

This seafood restaurant is accessible by boat about a 40 minute cruise from this lake house. It is a small place near Wheeler Dam in the last slough to the right before the Dam. In my experience they have had some great seafood and some awesome tuna dip!

Download the app called "Florence AL" for alot of information about most everything in this area and surrounding areas! We have several unique and interesting places to see such as the "Hall of Fame" famous recording studio, McFarland Park on Pickwick Lake, Helen Keller's birth place, an Indian Mound Museum, 360 Grill revolving restaurant, etc. etc.
It's an awesome College campus that continues to grow! Come visit the real lion mascots!

Picnic tables and pavilions are all along beautiful Pickwick Lake along with the floating restaurant called Stanfield's River Bottom Grill. There is also a new Tourism Center, a Disc Golf course, soccer field, marina and boat ramps, etc.
