MARK IS Minatomirai

One of the most beautiful places for dating in Japan is, arguably, the Yokohama Bayside area, with the Yokohama Marine Tower one of the highlight spots. Built in 1961 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Yokohama port’s opening. Over 25 million people have since visited it and it stands as one of Yokohama’s most recognizable symbols.
It’s worth getting there on time with that day’s sunset, arriving at the tower 15 minutes before sunset begins. Buy your tickets on the 1st floor then take the 2nd floor elevator to the top. As you head to the top, you’ll discover a beautiful view of Yokohama Bay. You can also see the Hikawa-maru Ocean Liner and the Yokohama Bay Bridge.
The 30th floor is 100 meters above ground. As you walk around the deck, you will often be able to see a clear silhouette of Mount Fuji against the sunset. If you walk down to the 29th floor, you’ll grab a great position for Yokohama’s night views as there is ample seating here. Seats facing Minato Mirai are recommended. The Landmark Tower, the Queen’s buildings, Cosmo 21, and the Intercontinental Yokohama Grand should all be visible.
The nearest station is Motomachi-Chukagai (Minato Mirai line). As you head out of Exit 4 and head towards Yamashita Park, you should see the tower on the left.

From the start, our concept has been to be the one-stop place to enjoy the flavors of this national dish from renowned shops across Japan without stepping on a plane. Surrounded by the sea, it features Yokohama’s best views of the Minato Mirai skyline, and the pier is one of the most creative architectural achievements you are ever likely to visit. Made of strips of wood, this long, winding pier also has large sections of grass, making it an ideal place to have a picnic. Depending on how you view it, it can also be a fascinating piece of abstract art. Osanbashi Pier is perfect for a leisurely walk with the family or a romantic date spot
