During the colder seasons, they rent snow shoes and even have occasional outings, such as, snowshoeing by the moon light in White Memorial Conservation Center in the nearby town of Litchfield.
Audubon Sharon encompasses four nature sanctuaries and 3,000 acres! It also has an environmental education center and wildlife rehabilitation clinic. Great trails and wildlife! Years ago, I interned here, and did their first breeding bird survey. I identified over 100 species of songbirds on the property.
