Can't say enough about how fun and yummy this restaurant is. Great NACHOS, that will blow your mind. Tri Tip and other specialties, with wine/beer bar. Excellent.

Great views by the damn. Its a walk so wear good shoes.
Beautiful trails. If you have an ATV you can get up and around the lake for stunning views. Walking trails are lovely and relaxing. The lake in the summer is beautiful and in the winter the snowbanks around the lake are good for snow play.

This is a must see. An easy 20 minute drive (without traffic) and beautiful views of the Sierra and Stanislaus River. A nice picnic area is on site.

Breathtaking views of the Sierras and the Stanislaus River. Numerous spots to stop and take photos of the mountains and valleys. Even though the fires of 2 years ago are still apparent the recovery of the trees and surrounding areas are always beautiful and worth the drive.

Breathtaking views of the Sierras and the Stanislaus River. Numerous spots to stop and take photos of the mountains and valleys. Even though the fires of 2 years ago are still apparent the recovery of the trees and surrounding areas are always beautiful and worth the drive.
