An easy walk through the Tangletown neighborhood brings you to Green Lake, a lively park for activities of all sorts - walking, running, inline skating, skateboarding, slack-lining, frisbee, birdwatching (keep an eye out for great blue herons and bald eagles!), people watching. Not a bad place to catch Pokemons, either! :)
The lake is surrounded by cafes, pubs and restaurants.

A superfund site never looked so good! Accessible to the Burke-Gilman trail, which will take you to Fremont to the west and the U-District to the east.

The north-south grid smashes into the Green Lake radial pattern, creating a neighborhood easy to get lost in. No worries, though, because it is a delightful area to explore classic working class Seattle bungalows, lovely gardens, and some great cafes, pubs and restaurants.
