The BEST bathing services in the city. The so called wellnes is spectacular ( and touristy). History of the turkish bath - so called thermal - goes back to the 15th century. Separated female day on Tuesdays ( when I go) male days on Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays/Friday mornings. Mixed Fridays afternoons, nights, all day Saturdays, Saturday nights and Sundays. Not to be missed while in Budapest.

There is a great rose garden in a church yard, called the Square of Roses next door to the apartment. Do not miss in early June when the roses are in full blossom. Angelina Jolie shot scenes of her film In the Land of Blood and Honey here. The interior of the church is spectacular as well. Masses on daily basis.

Rózsák tereThere is a great rose garden in a church yard, called the Square of Roses next door to the apartment. Do not miss in early June when the roses are in full blossom. Angelina Jolie shot scenes of her film In the Land of Blood and Honey here. The interior of the church is spectacular as well. Masses on daily basis.
