Now this lovely bakery is literally right around the corner from our place. It's lovely but the croissants aren't as good as Le Paltoquet. But they will suffice, especially for ease of proximity. Upstairs is a nice sitting-room to while away the day.

Formerly a Mile-end institution, Nouveau Palais was taken over by the young ones. Great thing is nothing's changed but the food is tastier (and pricier). Great place though!
