You can sit outside under the cafe lights at night. Try the figs wrapped in bacon with a balsamic glaze - amazing!

Phoenix Lake TrailGo early! The traffic (if expected to be a warm day) can be rough. And/or go all the way out Sir Francis Drake and then down into Stinson. The Mill Valley way is the way with lots of traffic if it is nice outside. Also, it can be 10-20 degrees colder out there so best to check the fog report and/or weather report.

AMAZING hiking all around this area but my favorite trail is to park in the small lot at the bottom parking area (it is actually the *only* parking area!) and go up to the lake/reservoir. There is a relatively flat trail (part sun & part shade) that goes all the way around the lake and it is amazing. Very very pretty.

AMAZING hiking all around this area but my favorite trail is to park in the small lot at the bottom parking area (it is actually the *only* parking area!) and go up to the lake/reservoir. There is a relatively flat trail (part sun & part shade) that goes all the way around the lake and it is amazing. Very very pretty.
Big grassy lawn area, small beach but no waves which is nice for little kids. Very pretty & great hiking right next to the beach in China Camp State Park.

Cute little downtown that has 3-4 great restaurants, small boutique shops, and a ferry that goes into the city or to Angel Island. Lots of people bike to this area (via Blackie's Pasture parking lot) and it makes for an easy ride & enjoyable day.
