Small neighborhood spot. Not quite a dive but not super nice (pretty dark inside even on a bright sunny day) in a way that can be nice! Delicious tuna steak sandwich and fries. People also like their salads. Good beer list. Lots of locals come here. Run by management we like that always donates to our charity event. Good neighborhood institution.

A Philly favorite in the Gayborhood! Salty bartenders who actually have hearts of Gold (they will never let you know that though, that's not their thing). Can bring well behaved dogs there! Always a crazy unpredictable mix of people from Philly. You'll see... Also a locals spot! Lots of regulars here. Little tip-- be ready to order when the bartenders come by... :)

Not many places like this left. Self-described "non-profit, all volunteer, anarchist book store." Our historical Philly books all come from this place. We love it and all its staff! But may not be for you depending on your political leanings... You get the point.

If you're with someone in a wheelchair, just call ahead and they can set up the movie you want to see in the more accessible theater. Both are accessible, but one is just easier. 2023 Sansom StClosest movie theater to us. Plays blockbusters and independent movies as well. If you're with someone in a wheelchair, just call ahead and they can set up the movie you want to see in the more accessible theater. Both are accessible, but one is just easier. They're very kind about it.
