If you're looking for ambiance, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for great sushi a 5 minute walk away, this is it. The vegetarian dragon roll is awesome & the kids meal always pleases.

Simple delicious Mexican food and a good walk. Their indoor dining area is tiny but they have a lot of outdoor seating and we bring kids here a lot.

If you want a delicious, higher-end meal in an awesome environment, consider this spot. Easy but upscale vibe. Amazing menu of local, seasonal delights. Their kale salad blew me away.

I recommend gregoire for breakfast and lunch but not dinner. I think dinner is too pricey for what you get, but this is a great little takeaway joint. Get the potato puffs.

This quirky institution is worth a visit. The fried chicken sandwich is to die for. They'll also make it into a salad. Strawberry shortcake = amazing. And you can eat on the sidewalk ironing boards :)

This is a great butcher. Don't let the name deceive you, they've got everything a carnivore could want. We love their free range rotisserie chicken & house-made ham sliced for sandwiches.

This place is worth a visit just for the experience. Great pre-made sushi. Their onigiri is one of our favorite on the go meals for the kids. Its an Asian market at its best, and the gift shop is fun.

On a hot day, this is a great spot to go with kids. Good swimming and splashing and they've got a little cafe for snacks. And its beautiful.

Great kid spot on warmer days. There's a park here, and a great little beach spot on the bay where the kids can splash around and roll rocks over to find harmless little crabs.

Romantic/fun sunset spot. An easy climb up the rocks gives you a killer view of the bay, GG bridge and SF. We bring snacks, "special" drinks in our water bottles and sweatshirts. Then we relax.
