Dießen is a beautiful old town to visit there
lovely views of the Alps and easily visited by train -just three stops from our house brings you right to the lake-shore. Cafes and restaurants are on the lake-side and a pleasant lake-side walk can be enjoyed or a trip on the lake itself, either in an electric hire-boat or the large passenger ships that do a tour of the lake.

lovely views of the Alps and easily visited by train -just three stops from our house brings you right to the lake-shore. Cafes and restaurants are on the lake-side and a pleasant lake-side walk can be enjoyed or a trip on the lake itself, either in an electric hire-boat or the large passenger ships that do a tour of the lake.

Excellent for families with children on sunny days. Great to have a peaceful 30 mins walk through the forest and find refreshment at this beer garden with plenty of activities for all the family. There are animals, mini golf, bouncy castles and playground for the kids. They have a very good restaurant with delicious Bavarian food or a beer garden with large self-service kiosk outside. A great place for families where the parents want to relax whilst the kids have fun!
