My second favourite coffee shop next to Marais. A must-go for the gateaux and cakes!

One of my favourite coffeeshops. Very cool and cozy at the same time. All furniture has a price tag for you to purchase on the spot, so watch out nobody buys the chair you are sitting on! ;)

I love this laid-back biergarten. And get this: in biergartens, when sitting on a bench (not on chairs), you can bring your own food (salads, sausages, etc.), and you only need to buy the cold drinks!

Oh this is clearly one of the best spots for breakfast. Huge choice, very pretty and charming interior, you can also sit outside. Unfortunately, it is quite a way from my place, but worth it.

Very fresh, original Japanese food. The interior is not the most fancy one, but the chef (not his helpers) are Japanese, which really reflects in the best in town sushis. Rather cheap, too!

Very nice and historical spot. Enter the English Garten from here or walk up the "Leopoldstraße", where you bypass the University and head for Schwabing, Munich's famous former artist district.

Weather is bad? If you like to take a swim in a really impressive historic environment, go here. It is over 100 years old and you can easily imagine women with full-body-swimsuits around 1900.
