It’s amazing, just remember to pack LOTS of water, it gets seriously hot out there, but don’t worry, it’s worth it, and if you have the chance to do the full moon, DO IT!!

This is a 3 hour drive from Las Cruces, so it makes for a very long day if you are not spending the night there, but Holy Cow! It is definitely worth the drive.

This is another long drive, but if you are in NM for a while, Silver City is a fun day trip and while you are in that neighborhood, this is a pretty great hike.

Great local food if you want something that is not ALL green chile, all of the time. Although we can't imagine why you would not want chile on EVERYTHING, this place has a wide cross selection. Oddly, the wine is not great (if you like dry wine) but the food is, and there is a great patio.
