Downtown Walhalla, the "Gateway to the Mountains" and just 15 minutes south of Lake Chattooga, has some great new restaurants. Go see Amanda, the owner of Gather Uptown for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Head to Mountian Mocha for coffee and ice cream with the kids. The Hungry Hiker will not disappoint for a large breakfast after fishing all morning. Need a pizza? Carolina Pizza Company is fantastic! You do not need a fishing licence for our lake but will need one for any other waterway. There are stops along the way to pick one up.
Wide Mouth Bass is the primary fish in our lake.
