There's a tiny little theater in the back that plays silent films, so relaxing. Delicious coffee, Dandy Blend - a chicory coffee-like drink, Kombucha that even Kombucha-haters will love, great pastry treats if they don't run out. This is such an adorable coffee shop, I dare you to find a cuter place in California.

This is such an adorable coffee shop, I dare you to find a cuter place in California.
The warm artichoke bread is delicious, with some cheese from Harley Farms and a bottle of the family's wine, 2015 Chardonnay, Santa Cruz Mountains "Duet" is my favorite, and that's all you need to make it a day. Picnic area in the back is dog and kid friendly. Sandwiches are delicious, especially the Godfather. And if you like bacon, take home a few packs because it's my favorite bacon from any grocer.

Parks & Nature
Sitting on the back patio looking at the stars and listening to the bullfrogs in the pond and the cattle out on the pasture is enough for me at night, but again I'm not a spring chicken anymore.

Tourists have been coming here for years, in the late 1800's from Europe to collect the multi-colored pebbles from the beach to set into jewelry.

Dee Harley has kept alive the dairy industry in San Mateo County with her adorable farm, delicious cheese making and more. The shop and grounds are lovely and so much fun for kids and big kids alike. Check out the guardian dogs that watch the goats and compete for attention and petting from the visitors. Harley Farms is a gem, our one and only dairy in San Mateo County and a treasure to visit.

Sightseeing
The lighthouse used to be manned and was successful in saving many mariners lives. It's a beautiful lighthouse, sorely in need of restoration, so visiting can help! One of the ships that wasn't saved by the lighthouse's warnings is rumored to have crashed on shore near Pescadero, while carrying white paint in it's cargo hold. The story told is that the homes in Pescadero have traditionally been painted in white as a result of the shipwreck's spoils floating to shore. The lucky residents were able to paint their homes for years to come with the wreckage paint.
