This is our morning walk-to spot for a latte or coffee. I have never been impressed with the food but they offer free computers/wi-fi and a nice set of benches and chairs outside next to Emerald Bay Rd. Relax and watch the cars go by. Say hello to the resident bulldog inside. They have a fireplace and a hidden kids nook to please everyone in the family.

Say hello to the resident bulldog inside. They have a fireplace and a hidden kids nook to please everyone in the family.
Nice outdoor patio and may also have live music. The food is not spectacular but stick to the wine and cheese beards with a bottle of wine. The best cheese and salami/meat selections anywhere! I always buy a few to bring home.

Outdoor seating on the deck right next to the lake. Friendly staff and great food. Try the fresh clam chowder, caprice salad and fried calamari. Huge portions. The bar gets packed. Dine early or eat outside on the deck. This is at the end of the entrance to Richardson Beach so parking can get messy.

A short drive from our cabin. The parking can be messy so consider bringing your bikes and picking up the trail from behind Anderson Bike Rental or rent one from them. Nice beach area with BBQ's. Very family friendly. You can walk to the general store, old time candy shop or ice cream shop for an excursion from the beach. Rent a paddle boat or canoe and explore the lake.

The best place for a bike rental and the friendliest staff anywhere. We rent from here and pick up the Emerald Bay trail to Pope Beach or Camp Richardson. This is a great way to stay out of the traffic and enjoy the scenery. Bikes and helmets are provided. Get there early, this place is a zoo after 10 a.m. Prices are very reasonable, too.
