One of our local coffee shops... also has beer on tap! It's pretty dang popular and usually has an energetic vibe due to being pretty full. It's very close to the guest house. They have Taco Deli tacos while supplies last and other food they make themselves.

An old Austin classic. They have their own garden and the restaurant itself is an old house conversion. Not as hip as Salty Sow or Dai Due, but it's a pillar of the neighborhood.

They bill themselves as "a hipster sports bar". So yeah, it's more of an "East Side" sports bar... whatever that means... ;) Food is ok, but they have a huge beer selection. It's always pretty jumpin'.
