Dalla zuppa di orzo sapida, alla Tirtlen (che qui chiamano diversamente), alle mezzelune ripiene con burro e semi di papavero, allo stinco di maiale com patate e funghi morbidissimo e ben cucinato, tutto parla atesino e marebbiano. I gusti sono semplici, casalinghi, ma sinceri e gustativamente convincenti. Alla fine, una sfilata di dolcetti fritti con marmellate, e immancabile strude! Prezzi modici. A few kilometers from San Vigilio, this tavern resists temptation. All female, it offers a fixed menu compendium of local culinary traditions. From the savory barley soup, to the Tirtlen (which they call differently here), to the crescents stuffed with butter and poppy seeds, to the pork knuckle with potatoes and mushrooms, very soft and well cooked, everything speaks Atesino and Marebbiano. The tastes are simple, homely, but sincere and tastefully convincing. At the end, a parade of fried sweets with jams, and inevitable strude! Moderate prices. A great choice in the valley. Reservation recommended.
