Simply the best brunch place in the city in my humble opinion. If you have the time, go there and order the poached eggs on the pretzel.

Unmissable. This place is probably the oldest restaurant selling hummus, fool, falafel, etc. It's really good and It's in the city centre/old town so no excuses.

Super close to Hashem. After munching on falafel and hummus. You simply must try knafeh from this place. It's a Middle Easter desert and it slaps (it's really good).

This is the place if you want to try our national dish, Mansaf! It's in downtown as well so superb location + they sometimes have live music at night!

Shawerma is a favourite street food in Jordan and Amman. There are countless shawarma places but this is one of my favourites. There's a branch on Rainbow street, Weibdeh and Abdullah Ghosheh Street.

Not far away and a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It's also a historical Christian town with churches and other sights to see. If you're a reader then I highly recommend visiting Kowan Bookshop.

Worth a day trip in my opinion if you have the time. This UNESCO world heritage city has ottoman-style old architecture and is only 30km away from Amman.

Careem is an application similar to Uber that is prevalent in the Middle East. It's the best way to get around and is affordable. The cheaper way to get around is with a normal taxi but unfortunately, some taxi drivers are not pleasant and may try to scam you or take advantage of you as a tourist.
