The very very very VERY BEST ice cream in Budapest.
This place is just crazy! All the ingredients come directly from Italy. Try the 'pisctacchio di Bronte' but watch out they run out of it by the evening! ;)

It's only two corners far from the apartment.
Tipical Hungarian dishes, local people come and go for a substanial midday meal.

My favourite 'lunch menu' place.
Most of restaurants in Budapest has a 'lunch menu'. The portion is somewhat smaller and it's not a la carte but it's just good if you want to eat something quickly. Mostly the lower price goes with lower quality but here it is all different.
Have a delicious lunch for €5!
They serve lunch menu only on weekdays between 12:00-15:00. (mostly they run out of their daily menu around 14:00)

The building itself is also worth of a look.
On the upper floor there's an amazing hall with window roof (century-turn photo studios didn't have artificial lights so they used natural lights)
