The city’s original site, the Castle Hill once boasted a reputedly impregnable citadel. Surprising waterfall, this wonderful place for strolling offers a wonderful viewpoint over Baie des Anges, Old Nice and the Port.
Access on foot from OId Nice and Place Garibaldi, in an Art-Deco lift or by steps (‘escalier Lesage’) at the end of Quai des États-Unis or on the Little Tourist Train.

Our region, more specifically Grasse is famous for perfumes. The MIP in Grasse is quite large but it is interisting to complete your tour with a visit (free - about 30 minutes ) of (very close) :
- Usine historique Fragonard, 20 bd Fragonard
- a tiny museum of Costume Provençal, 2 rue Jean Ossola,
- a small museum of paintings (Collection jean-Honoré Fragonard), 14 rue jean Ossola.
