Sightseeing
Betws-y-Coed
Between Betws y Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog. A true Welsh castle. It’s not possible to go inside but the walk to the castle and round the ruins is pleasant and not too difficult. Park in the lay-by off the main road , on the right if you are coming from Betws y Coed. Walk slightly up the road (away from Betws) and go through the farm gate on the right. This is the footpath to the castle.

A470Between Betws y Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog. A true Welsh castle. It’s not possible to go inside but the walk to the castle and round the ruins is pleasant and not too difficult. Park in the lay-by off the main road , on the right if you are coming from Betws y Coed. Walk slightly up the road (away from Betws) and go through the farm gate on the right.
