Places To Go
A trip to Halifax is not complete without a walk along the Halifax Waterfront. Starting at historic properties, this walk along the water will take you all the way to Pier 21, the Canadian Museum of Immigration. Along the boardwalk, you will also find many local restaurants and vendors, "The Wave", The Harbour Hopper, Seadoo/Kayak/Scooter rentals and buskers. You can stop and take a break to lounge in one of the hammocks or Adirondack chairs and watch the boats coming into the Harbour. Make sure you stop to get an ice cream from Cow's or a classic pastry from Beavertails! Don't forget to check out the Town Clock at Citadel Hill.

If you have time to take a day trip outside of the city, we highly recommend you check out the famous lighthouse at Peggy's Cove! It's an easy 45-minute scenic drive from the city. Once there, you should check out the Sou'Wester restaurant and get an Atlantic Lobster Roll followed by Warm Homemade GingerBread and ice cream.

They have an option to get a flight of their original & specialty cocktails. They also have paired with The Savary Pit to offer food and have a sister creamery where you can get ice cream!

Raibow Haven Beach is located about 35 minutes from Downtown Halifax. It is complete with a picnic area, boardwalks, changing rooms, and showers, and a spacious and sheltered beach.
