If you're a foodie, Madison's dining scene is worth the short drive! Plan ahead and book reservations where you can. You won't regret it!
Toby's is famous for their Friday night fish fry. Personally, it's not my favorite fish but the experience is worth it if you enjoy Wisconsin supper clubs and a good Old Fashioned. Be prepared for at least an hour long wait and know the system.

On the Water
A leisurely, 2 hour kayak south through the Lower Yahara Channel to Lake Kegonsa will float you to Fish Camp at the inlet of the Yahara River on the northwest shore of Lake Kegonsa. Boat and canoe launches, piers, restrooms, parking, and picnic area makes this a perfect take-out point for your day trip. Be prepared for a more challenging trip home as you will be paddling upstream.
