Excellent place with a good atmosphere. Frequent live music and good beer. Friendly staff and a large place to relax!

This is my favorite local ice cream shop! The Cookie Monster and Salted Oreo are the two I enjoy the most. The ice cream is made locally!

Every Friday and Saturday at 6:00PM is prime rib! I recommend you get there as close to 6:00PM as possible as it runs out later into the evening. They won't serve it until 6:00PM, though, so don't arrive too early!

Great local place where you can take food to go. In the mornings they have hot and ready breakfast wraps. The banana buzz is an excellent frappe from here.

Good locally-owned sandwich place that has charming staff. Their hot pastrami, gyro, and hot ham n cheese are all excellent.
Their toffee cookies are my favorite!

Great food, plenty of seating, lots of tall tables and chairs and plenty on tap. This place has great indoor and outdoor seating, and is a great place to start the evening if you're going out in Whitefish for the night!

Excellent BBQ joint! I recommend the Montana Dog, the Pulled Pork Po' Boy, the Buffalo Chips and their Mac. Nice place to stop in for a late lunch after hiking around Whitefish. I would recommend that you eat here AFTER hiking as the food is heavy and you'll feel full for awhile!

City/town information
Columbia Falls is surprisingly bikeable. I would recommend bringing a bike if you're looking for some nice sunny vibes while you enjoy the area when you're not out sight-seeing. There are some biking paths that run east-west along Talbot Road.

Great place if you have kids with you! They have a large maze with different stations which is a fun challenge, bumper boats and go-karts!

This place has some ziplines and tree-top courses that are accessible to all ages. There's also a swim area for kids. Great to spend an afternoon!

Besides skiing in winter, Whitefish Mountain has some fun summer activities for families! There's a gondola ride and the view up top is amazing! There's also mountain bike trails and you can ride your bikes up on the lifts.
There's also an alpine slide that's fun for families!

They have some entertaining tube rides and slides! You may want to bring your own food as they are limited inside. If you do choose to eat here, go to the stand near the volleyball court as it has better food than the stand that's toward the kid pool.

I would recommend giving Glen. Chuck or Vince a call at Flathead Scuba for some suggestions on diving in the area if you're SCUBA certified.
There's an underwater forest and some old equipment in Lake McDonald, which is very clear and boats aren't a concern here.
In McGregor Lake, visibility is 50+ ft and is fun to explore and hunt for Crayfish.
