You can not go wrong eating and enjoying this breathtaking view. The food is yummy, drinks are tasty and by far this place has the beat deck and the longest lasting sun of the day!

Wow- what to say!? Delicious food! The barata salad- YUM! Pizzas, pasta, and great appetizers!

A beauty little town with a great park on Slocan Lake. Some cute shops to peek through. Worth a stop on a circle trip from Nelson- to New Denver- Kaslo and back to Nelson

Love this gem of a town. The cutest little art shops, ice cream shops and beaches. This is the junction to head back to Nelson via Kalso, of keep going to Nakusp.
Maybe you want to go and hike up to Idaho Peak!! Single lane- but so worth the view from this old forest fire look out

Lakeside is Nelsons local beach, has a nice children’s playground, rhe rose garden cafe and a gorgeous beach. This is one of the options to launch your boat.

This beach has the latest sun of all the local beaches. There are permanent no water toilets, no food but amazing beach and swimming. Last i heard dogs were still allowed, but best you look that up before you go as it seems to change often. No playground for kids, but lots of room for frizbee

Kokanee Creek Provincial Park
British Columbia 3AA must visit!! This is a gorgeous beach with a long white sand strip with shallow water. This is part of a provincial camp ground, there are both permanent no water toilets as well as flushing toilets with sinks. A few great childrens play grounds, and a great place to bring the bikes, scooters or go for a hike!
This is locals beach. You will see where the path is (just after the 1st bridge on lower 6 mike road) that winds down to the beach. Dogs allowed, no toilets, pack it in- pack it out. No garbage cans here. Its is just a secret white sand beach. I suggest swimming only on the upside- there has been deadly undertows on the Nelson side of the spit
