More coastal, Pacific Ocean and Golden Gate Bridge and sf views and a bit of a hike with a suspension bridge and a tunnel . With COVID they have people limits and windy days can close the bridge. Check out the Nps website for updates if you add this to your list( instead of relaying in Google for accurate open days as COVID changed the availability. If you plan to hike around outside it's free. tours cost, if they are even available. Parking. Weekends can be busy with lines. If you go on a weekday, you may skip line and only see light house from outside, which has often been enough for me and my kids. Often very windy

This small pebble beach is mostly a local spot with wet suit clad surfers as the water is cold. Just past the marine mammal center, you are more to need a jacket than not as it’s coastal. Parking is free. It’s more off the beaten path and less touristy.

On the way to or from Muir woods, this grocery store has lots to offer. Made to order hot food ( I enjoy their mild yellow curry) ,deli sandwiches and coffee and tea is just the beginning ( with house made chai options)use the any self serve kiosk to order and pay for quicker service. Full grocery store with bathrooms. Filled with organic produce, locally made items plus every option for every diet for all my label reading friends ( gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, dairy free, etc) and even take fresh home options and house made specialty sauces and made fresh daily grab and go meals. Plenty of parking. I didn’t add my photos and the stock photos give a great view into one of my favorite groceries spots in the bay.
