The view is spectacular at the top of this beautiful bridge. There is a designated lane for walking or riding a bike. I have done both many times and it never gets old...or easy! ha!
FYI: It is Georgia’s tallest cable-stayed suspension bridge. 486 feet tall and 7,780 feet long ( 1.5 miles!)
One of my favorite spots is actually Under the bridge! There is a park turn-off, just on the east side of the bridge. You can go all the way to the end, there is a boat ramp and some covered tables to stop and have a snack, right beside the water, all in the shadow of the big bridge!

It has become a popular place for weddings, class reunions and craft markets!

There is a great climbing, swinging park for the kids that has some fun music-making features and the sunset is lovely from here.
One of our favorite things is to order pizza from Foxes Pizza and walk down, throw a blanket on the grass, let the kids play and enjoy the breeze and open air.
There's a small farmer's market here on Saturday mornings!

First Fridays Downtown Brunswick
From 5-8 pm it's pedestrians only down Mainstreet. Local artists set up their tents and bands and DJ's too. There are a few food trucks, and all the local yummy places to eat are open. It is easily the best night in Brunswick. The whole community comes out to play!
It's a fun family time to walk and shop and eat and drink. One of my most favorite things to do in Brunswick!

Pedal your way through the beautiful historic neighborhoods in Downtown Brunswick with Brunswick Old Town Tours.
Learn about the city's history, stop to admire dozens of Victorian-era homes, and look for the many new murals painted by local artists.
This is our all-time personal favorite. We never tire of pedaling around the city, through blocks of homes and gardens exploring and enjoying the Coastal Georgia scenery.
