The archaeological museum of Ancient Corinth is a trully beautiful museum located only 15 minutes away from Villa Greviva at around 10,5 km.
You pay one ticket and you can visit both the archeological site and the museum.
Don't forget to enjoy the museum's yard and see all the statues located there too!

Make sure you are wearing flat shoes or trekking shoes and have a hat over your head for the hot sunny days.
It is a great archeological site and there are many ruins to see with the most beautifull of all the Temple of Apollo!
Don't forget to also visit the "Rostra" (Bema) of Saint Paul, the Apostle, as it was there that his trial took place where he addressed his speach to the public. The epistles to the Corinthians at the time.

It might be a man made Canal, build between 1881 and 1893, but it is one of the most impressive canals you will see as it is 6km long and it reaches 300 feet hight from the water on its vertical sides in the center.
Make sure you take great fotos on the main road at the old bridge where you can stop and enjoy the view.
And if you really want to have a different aspect of the canal, you can visit one of the lower bridges that are located on both lower ends of the canal - mainly used by the locals to cross over.
Unfortunatelly during that time you will not see boats crossing since it is still under repair works due to a major landslide on January 15th, 2021.

Osios Patapios Monastery is located accross the Corinthian gulf on the Gerania mountains overseeing Loutraki city at an altitude of approximately 700meters.
The monastery is taken care of by nuns and has quite a few steps to get to the entrance from where you will leave your car, but I promise you that both the serenity of the monastery as well as the amazing view will reward you for the effort.
At the beggining of the steps you might find local sellers of honey and other products, feel free to buy something from them, it is worth it.

Moni Osiou Patapiou
