Although a short trail system, the preserve offers a diversity of majestic oak tree-lined paths and tall grass overlooks to view Lake Tuscawilla. To hike the 0.7 mile outer loop, turn right at the trail's entrance kiosk and follow the path west. Stay right at the first junction. When you're done, spend the rest of the day in historic downtown Micanopy and enjoy an ice cream at Coffee N' Cream.
