If you're exploring National Forest lands...
Be prepared for gravel roads. Some USFS roads receive little or no maintenance due to budget cuts, and you may encounter washouts or downed trees. Reliable tires and a vehicle with some ground clearance will make a difference! Cell service will be limited once you leave the highway 200 corridor.
