We love this little movie theater. There are 3 movies offered every evening at 7:15 pm, all first run with at least one an excellent "suitable for children" movie. Some days, especially during weekends and summers, one or two movies are available as matinees. On Tuesdays, the entrance special is $6 per person; any other time the price ranges from $7 to $9 (cash only). What a bargain!

If you want to see excellent, small town but highly competitive hockey, the Bracebridge Blues Junior A Hockey Team plays home games at the Memorial Arena, a short stroll from home on McMurray Street. Also... there's a terrific skateboard park beside the arena.

From May to October the Lady Muskoka 2-3/4 hour sightseeing cruise is boarded at the Muskoka River in Bracebridge and travels to and around Lake Muskoka. Refreshments or a full meal are available. The evening dinner cruise is our personal favourite.

Follow the road to the very end and you'll be at parking lot with access to the Wilsons Falls Trail, which is an easy strolling trail through forested areas and over a small waterfall. Bonus #1 - it's part of the TransCanadaTrail (TCT). Bonus #2 - there are a couple of geocaches on the trail.

The first place we hiked when we arrived in Muskoka, Huckleberry Rock gave us an incredible view of Lake Muskoka cottage country. It's steep but the trails are well cleared and would accommodate a stroller or wheelchair. There's also a few very nice geocaches along the way. Free parking at the trail head.

1057 Milford Bay RdThe first place we hiked when we arrived in Muskoka, Huckleberry Rock gave us an incredible view of Lake Muskoka cottage country. It's steep but the trails are well cleared and would accommodate a stroller or wheelchair. There's also a few very nice geocaches along the way. Free parking at the trail head.
