There are plenty of taxi options in town. But it can sometimes be a little more expensive compared to the public transport. My recommendation is Pink Taxi and Lux Taxi. Pink taxi also has an app, so you can order it online. If you go to the airport you can use a taxi or a bus going to the airport (A1 shuttle) that stops next to the building.

As for the money, there is an exchange office across the street from the building. This exchange office has a better offer than those in the city. Some things in Belgrade are free as a ticket to the National Museum on Sundays or admission to the botanical garden for students with a student ID card.

While you are in Belgrade, try some local things like homemade coffee or Turkish coffee that all Serbs drink. This coffee is offered by all cafes and it is one of the cheapest! From food you should try ćevapi, pljeskavica, sarma, prebranac, Karađorđeva šnicla, pečenje, proju, šopsku salatu, ajvar, kajmak... These are some of the dishes you can find in the above recommended restaurants. In Serbia, people enjoy alcoholic beverages such as rakija. It comes in a small glass and you drink it slowly before or after a meal. There are many different flavors so you can try many different ones.

As for nightlife, there are various choices and a large offer in Belgrade. What I can recommend is to download the Go Out Belgrade app, which tells you about events in the city from restaurants to clubs. You can also make a reservation there. Most of these places have their own social media sites, so you can look at the pictures there and judge what you like.

To use public transport, you can buy a paper ticket at the counter for 90 minutes, 1 day or 7 days. Tickets can be purchased at the kiosks at the intersection next to the Maxi store. I would recommend that you buy a ticket that is valid for 1 day because they are not expensive. There is also the possibility of paying for the ticket via SMS to the number 9011, where you send the message A90 for a 90-minute ticket, or A1 for a ticket valid for 1 day or A7 for a ticket valid for 7 days. The third option is to pay the ticket online through the BeogradPlus phone application.
