Bring your swimsuits and sandals because there is also a beach just down the road or you can visit West Moreland state park with a nice beach or just head on into Colonial Beach For some time in the sun!

Vehicle Required
This area is between the cities of Fredericksburg and Richmond VA. Public transportation is not a feasible way to get around. Luckily most places have more than enough parking. If heading into Washington DC for the day, you might want to consider using the VRE out of Spotsylvania or Fredericksburg (most have plentiful free parking).
