Raposeira is the closest village near by, here you can find a minimarket and few coffe bar, pizzaria and local restaurant. - "The Bunker" is a very nice coffe-bar where you can have one of the best coffe around, deliciuos snacks, juices and much more. - "Pizza point" is a very good pizzeria, the staff is very nice and is one of the best pizza around (I'm Italian, trust me). - "Casa do pasto Rodrigues"a tradicional Portugues restaurant where you can taste the original Poruguese meal and atmosphere. - "Senhor Josè" is a little bar behind the church, called by local "the president" offers traditional portuguese meals (only if booked in advance), coffe and the best "medronho" in town. Medronho is a typical firewater distilled from the fruit of the arbutus tree which grows abundantly in the area. Medronho production is considered to be an important regional craft in the Algarve.

Informazioni sulla città/località

Lying on a rocky plateau at the quieter end of the Algarve region in southern Portugal, this pretty harbour town is the perfect base from which to access the many fine beaches along the Algarve’s lesser-known west coast, as the stunning Praia do Beliche, Praia do Tonel, Praia da Mareta, Praia Martinhal. Once considered to be the end of the world, Cape São Vicente is an highlight for people visiting Sagres, mostly on account of its impressive lighthouse which marks the south-western tip of the European continent. In a town famed for its maritime tradition, a visit and a meal at "A Sereia" at the harbour is a must.
