off the beaten path, we accidentally stumbled upon this little hidden gem. It is a Ghost town off route 66 where you can tour an old mine, get old time photos taken and pet the wild burros that roam the streets.

Jerome is still on the map as a "Ghost town" even though it has a decent population and is not a typical abandoned ghost town, it has reinvented itself as a town of artistry. This city on the side of a mountain is a must see. They have Ghost tours and lots of spooky old buildings to check out, plus its a fun drive!
