My house is only a few minutes drive to the beautiful serene Redwood forest. If you are an early riser get there around first light, it is a treat and you will probably have the forest all to yourself.

Follow an elevated platform and walk through 350 m of lush rain forest. The stunning environment has 65 metre tall mountain ash trees and Myrtle Beech trees that are up to 400 years old.

If you walk out of the estate and stand at the bus stop you will see the Temple perched up on the hill over the road.
The monks are very friendly and enjoy talking to visitors. It;s only pen from 9am - 1pm daily and it nice to take a vegetarian food donation ie. can of beans, lentils, bag of rice.

This local favorite has been recently renovated and well worth a visit. I would suggest booking a table to avoid disappointment. Tuesday is taco night!
