I used to call it the animal museum :-) This is the Natural History Museum (luomus.fi), part of the Helsinki University, and there is a student cafe open for everybody

An art museum not far :)
Donated private collections, exhibitions. No entrance fee to the second floor collection. There is also a restaurant (Southpark) with Sat-Sun brunch 11-14.30 (about 22 €).

Lovely old theater; shows, concerts, opera, ballet etc. The former Opera House of Helsinki. Tickets affordable compared to opera, about 35-45 € plus, for the program see aleksanterinteatteri.fi
