1 Bridge StreetThe historic Bad Little Falls Park is one that we seem to think is so underrated! Every time we visit, the roaring waterfalls never fail to take our breath away! Bring a lunch, sit down at the picnic tables, & listen to the falls while watching the birds swoop for fish.
The Inn is located right along the popular Sunrise Trail and even has a direct access path! What used to be a railroad track was torn up & turned into an amazing trail that stretches miles on miles with beautiful scenery. Perfect for walking, running, ATV’s, snowmobiles, and biking! Also use this trail to walk to nearby restaurants, the closest being Dunkin’ and Pat’s Pizza!

Guests have told us many stories about waiting by the phone & ringing him off the hook when his books open to try and get a spot. Get up close and personal with these puffins— watching them from blinds on Seal Island. So cool!!

While it is a bit of a drive, Eastport is such a cute little town with multiple shops and restaurants! Many of those are seasonal, so be sure to look into business hours before traveling. Located along the coast and a cute little town.

One of our very favorites, Helen’s Restaurant! Owned by Brecken’s Aunt & Uncle David & Julie, this family restaurant has a large menu and bar! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. After your meal, don’t forget to grab a slice of their famous Baked Blueberry Pie! If possible, get a look at Brecken’s brother’s giant moose head hanging across from the fireplace. What a sight!

Before making your trip, consider checking out “Downeast Adventures” to rent a Polaris Rzr during your trip date(s)! This is an amazing way to explore some of the finest trails in Downeast Maine— including the popular Sunrise Trail! Located right here in Machias.

Don’t Miss It!
The Blueberry Festival happens right in the town of Machias in August and is one of the largest attractions to our area! Shopping vendors, food vendors, music, and more! A great way to have a good time and support local businesses. This festival brings people from all around the world to our little town!

If you’re planning to bike in the area, be sure to bring your own bike! Our area does not have any bike rental shops. The same goes for ATVs! Unfortunately you won’t find a rental company in our area at this time.
