The ambience is peaceful and cosy with unfussy decor." "The Menu is limited and has no vegetarian options. The food is excellent - tastefully presented, flavourful, well cooked and adequate portions. A satisfying and good value meal." "One of the best dining experiences we've had in a while! It is situated right next to the railway line (not in service ) in the picturesque seaside village of Groot Brak River just off the N2 with a tranquil view across the Groot Brak River mouth lagoon. The interior has an understated classy charm of a bygone era of rail travel, the food is excellent and so is the service. Fine dining without one feeling scared that you might break the crystal! So worth going off the beaten track to experience the Transkaroo in the heart of the Garden Route! We'll be back!"

In this respect we found it - Food and Service were outstanding!" "For a very very long time I did not had such a good burger - excellent meat quality, great spices, perfect roasted bun and as well crispy Rosmarin potato wedges on the side. One could really taste that ALL the ingredients (incl. the meat) come from a local farm close by - highest quality! In addition, beers and wines did match the food quality. Service very caring and prompt - we were even offered a drive home to our B&B as we could not get a taxi!" So many flavours competing for space in my brain and mouth. You got to experience it! Stunning sea views to boot and the wooded Chardonnay a great accompaniment to the meal. I will be back"

Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Our waitress, Ilin was very friendly and professional." "Always here for breakfast. This is an excellent place run by a few young guys and girls. Very trendy with a good atmosphere, the service is excellent and the coffee and food always good. I always have a cheese and tomato sandwich, the best ever. Try it and see!" "10/10 Wife, baby and myself accidentally stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop. Prices are fair, staff is friendly and food is delicious. Their coffee was fantastic and the supersized sandwiches were truly delicious. This seems a popular local hangout and well supported by tourists as well. There's a cute gift shop inside as well.
