Great spot on the bay! Great for kids to play in the sand too! Can be very crowded during the weekends on nice days. They do not take reservations and they are closed during the winter. Also a good opportunity to check out Point Lookout. We recommend to valet your car as parking is a challenge.

If you bike ride we recommend taking the boardwalk to the end and then navigating to the West End. Parking can be a BEAST in the summer, especially during weekends, so bike riding is best (or take an Uber?)

The LIRR is the best way to get into the city.
- 12 minute walk to: Island Park OR Long Beach LIRR
-We recommend Island Park as you save 6 minutes on the train, but either are great!
-Buy your ticket at the station (before boarding) or through their app (where you can also check schedules) "TrainTime"
