Trails and hiking
This paved trail has walkers and bicyclists, dogs, and humans :) and is about 9 miles round trip if you go to the end and back. You’ll get to see orchards, neighborhoods, the beautiful buttes from afar, countryside, fields, creeks, birds, and sometimes rabbits. Make sure to stop at each stop sign to watch for cars before crossing (there are a few of them)

Gray Lodge Wildlife Area

Even though this is about an hour away, it is by far our favorite hike and we have hiked here more than any other place. Our favorite place for gourmet pizza! Sit at the pizza bar and enjoy a cold drink 🍺 that you pick from the store fridge shelf or wine 🍷 racks too! Ask staff for a glass. Such a cool atmosphere. Pizza Wednesdays are where it’s at! Get your pizza for a killer deal on these nights and join the crowd. On nice days, the pizza oven rolls up outside and you can sit and enjoy the nice weather while you sip and grub. Tell our good friend Jim that Steve and Sharalee said hi while you’re there!

If you travel often, this is the gym for you! As of 4/2023 it has 2,326 locations in the US, with 189 of those being in California. They might not have everything that the local gym I shared has, but they definitely have plenty of equipment to get a good gym sesh in and it’s right in the heart of Yuba City!
