Homey, great BBQ, music and beer selection. I love their cornbread, and collards, and ribs, and brisket, oh heck, just about everything. They do sell out, especially when the Cajun Aces are playing (2nd Fridays). Other good bands too.

The owner Kay retired and moved from Japan to be with his son here in Maine. He's a sweetie. He makes all his own ramen every morning. Sometimes he uses green tea and makes green ramen, or beets to make pink ramen. The menu is simple (4-6 items) and varies monthly.

A quick cheap ferry ride (15 minutes, $6-8) gets you to the island. Take a windbreaker, because it gets chilly on the boat. There is a 4 mile walk all around the island, and it's amazing on the back side looking out towards - Africa?!
