The Venice of the Cotswolds! It can get busy and a bit touristy but it's a beautiful little town with a lovely canal running through it. There is also Birdland and the model village to visit for a full day out

It's our nearest bigger town for shopping and chain restaurants as well as some charming independents
Zoo and lovely gardens/manor house - the local village of Burford is also a great place for a shop, lunch or coffee on the way

The best cafe around, in a pretty village with lovely walks. They do fabulous brunches, high end lunches and the best doughnuts and cruffins. You can also get takeaways for your walk if you can't get a table
